For 2021, the theme for Black Friday was minimal. As the Social & Digital Designer, I worked alongside the others designs to come up with the concept. As the company had recently started sending PR boxes out to influencers, we wanted to include a tape aspect. Similar to the year previous, I was leading for the creative of teasers and all video / animation aspects.
The first video which went out was the short teaser. The most important information packed into a quick and attention grabbing 4 second video. This was placed on paid social and organic social channels. It was very successful on Paid Social and got a lot of consumers to sign up to the mailing list.
For the longer teaser, I added the key information but still kept the video short to capture the consumers attention. Then for the main creative, I made the tape assets we have created move as from paid social stats movement in assets increased engagement by 65%.
