NUFC
REIMAGINED
Newcastle United are a UK Football Team. They are predominantly known for their loyal fanbase and black and white stripes. Currently more popular on Twitter, both NUFC's socials have room for great improvement to increase engagement, whilst also making match days more enjoyable if you are following the team through one of these platforms.

I wanted to edit templates which were already implemented into the club's social media, whilst adding new elements as a way of increasing engagement. The image above is a more modern and minimalistic styled 'goal' post, to be uploaded to both social platforms when a player scores during a match.
The image above on the left is a match sheet, with additional information for fans to know exactly when and where they can watch the game. With many individuals losing their jobs due to the pandemic, knowing where to watch the football for free on channels such as Pick (free as long as you have Freeview), are beneficial to the working class demographic which takes majority in Newcastle.
The Kick off sheet is a new graphic, used to increase engagement on match day and to let fans know to get ready for the game which is kicking off in an hour / half an hours time.
NUFC do not promote their website enough on their social channels. It is filled with great content and has the ability to be easily linked to their posts on social platforms. Wallpaper Wednesday is a technique implemented by many accounts, to increase engagement and give something back to fans.
The wallpaper above is based on the NUFC news article on their website 'back in tyne' which looks at the history between Newcastle and the team they are playing next. In this instance, they looked at when Alan Shearer scored the goal against Sheffield United in 1998, to take NUFC through to the FA Cup final.
Sir Bobby Robson is one of Newcastle United's most iconic figures. With a statue outside the ground, he is one of the most loved managers to date. It is coming up to the 11th anniversary of Sir Bobby's death, therefore the article on the NUFC's hall of fame about Sir Bobby has been resurfacing.
Introducing a quotes segment to the teams social accounts I feel would definitely increase engagement, as Newcastle fans especially love looking back on the history of the club and good times they have had.
